You saunter through the thicket tediously, as you have been wandering for moons. The familiar, rhythmic sound of your paws hammering against the worn soil and ringing into your auditories. Aside from walking, there is not much else to do. Your gaze dances around the area and you notice many things. The diminishing dimness of the sun, although it was probably lighter outside the forest. Few rays of light strained through the taiga canopy, among other things. By the looks of it, this trail has been used for many years by humans, wolves, and prey alike, as all those scents somewhat lingered, and after years of use, a groove was imprinted on the earth.

It had suddenly turned so dark. Just an hour before, the sun of eventide had sent down light so beautiful. The colours affixed in the sky so correctly with such a harmonious combination gave an urge to weep, the grass bowed with the shafts of wind. Now it was lifeless. A mantle swept the sky and so it remained somber colours of raven. Like black upon a canvas. Starless. Inanimate.

In role play, is currently late winter. Prey animals are beginning to migrate back. Bears beginning to wake and lone wolves are frequently seen hunting now that prey is beginning to return after a long winter and weather has been generally cloudy. Mating season is now coming to an end.

Kozoka Taiga [ko-zo-kah ty-ay-ga] is a taiga situated among a higher altitude in the southern realm. Dotted with many trees, it is plentiful with caribou [in the winter months] and moose.

A soft breeze passed through the land. The chirping of a summer bird coaxed a sleeping wolf's eyes to open. Light flooded in, and with a muted growl she rose to her paws. As she took a step forwards, every muscle in her body screamed out in protest, but she kept walking anyway. Anything to quench her thirst was a necessity at this point, and if she didn't find water now, she never would. Her snout rose, and she could smell the faint scents of water. Encouraged by this small sign of hope, she trekked on.

The feminine male's silhouette was placed on a small hill. His optics were squinted toward the horizon, observing the beautiful, whimsical sky. The songs of the winds billowed in his derma, calming his wild spirit. The Alpha had his extension curled neatly around his paws as he meditated, focusing on nothing but life's purpose. Once in every moment, his sonars picked up the faint sound of the trees rustling, the bushes moving in rhythm with the movement of nature. Although, he felt a disturbance in his meditation. Another living being had interfered with his works.

With her senses diluted from malnutrition, the wolf was completely unaware of the presence of another canid. Her main goal was getting some water- nothing else mattered. A fault in her step sent the frail wolf tumbling into a rock before she managed to work into a stop. A wheezing sound escaped her parted jaws. The wolf had no desire to stand up again. Everything ached. Allowing another breath leave her body, she closed her eyes and waited.

The last few days, hundreds of trees flew past her sight. Unbridled travels left the female with fatigue in such an endless land after she dispersed her pack. Life. Yes, life had been so irritating as of late. Undoubtedly it was not in her favour. Several months since Envy had dispersed and she was so unhappy, and yet, she was supposed to be happy. Any wolf in her position would have been happy - Recently having left their natal pack and on their own, ready to face whatever challenges the world threw of her. Some were lucky. Some weren't. Envy was unlucky. Persistence. This is what got her here so far. Not at all worth it. Most packs encountered were... How would Envy put such a delicate topic, savage. Strange things, these packs. It was a definite cliche in these modern days. Yes, back in the days they were characterized with anger, sure to imbue fear into their enemies, and sure, they could kill them, but would it have the same 'novelty'? Maybe, yes. Probably not.

The nares of the female twitched. A wolf. No, two. Envy'd been oblivious to the presence of the entities, however, curiosity boiled up within her and her eyes were veined with a stern wonder. They could be hostile but with hope they were indeed not. And besides, Envy could probably take them on, knowing her confidant self. Envy heaved herself up, fatigue encrypted in her frame, and began towards the scents without hesitation.

His keen optics flew open, whilst his ears stood erect at a startling sound. His skull snapping toward the sound, there, he saw a frail female, lying there. Dyami couldn't tell if she was dead, or alive, simply exhausted. Stepping with caution, he bared his pearly ivories at her, his tail rising in dominance. The male's adrenaline pumped as he stared at her, snapping once to see her response. If her ears twitched or her canvas jumped, it would assure she was alive. If there was no response, he would simply take his walker and push her in the flowing H2O.
